Pay: $42,000k

Schedule: Flexible, can pick either: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM.

Type: Direct Hire

Job duties:

Assist with maintaining and updating clients' files and records on a daily basis.
Electronic filing of legal documents within the firm's document management system.
Responsible for opening files for new client matters.
Scanning client files/ records into the firm's document management system.
Assist with closing out client files and records, following the firm's closing procedures.
Provide Reception relief for Receptionist as needed.
Back-up other File Clerks when needed.
Reliable: MUST be there everyday/on time and ready to work.
Respectful: If you are running late or need to adjust your schedule for some reason PLEASE

communicate and be respectful of everyone's time.

Requirements:

Qualified candidates must possess a minimum of 2 years of experience as a file clerk in the legal industry.
MUST want to work in a professional office 5 days a week and have a high attention to detail.
Must also have excellent organizational and customer service skills, and proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, as well as electronic document management systems;
File Site experience a plus.
The ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks based on business needs is essential.
High school diploma or equivalent required
