This is an opportunity with Fleet Sustainment, belonging to HII's Mission Technologies division. For four decades, HII has been entrusted by the U.S. Navy to maintain and update the majority of its fleet, from small watercraft to submarines, combatants, and aircraft carriers. Our experts in systems and maintenance play a crucial role in helping the Navy stay in top form, utilizing cutting-edge technology and capabilities.

Key Aspects of HII's Mission Technologies Division

Essential Job Responsibilities
- Providing technical support to engineers on various tasks
- Gathering, maintaining, and manipulating technical data
- Producing engineering documentation, reports, and drawings
- Performing detailed mathematical calculations and data analyses

Minimum Qualifications

  • AA or other 2-year technical degree with 3 years of related experience, or HS + 5 years of related experience
  • Prior experience on Virginia Class Submarines in the US Navy
  • Active Secret Security Clearance

Physical Requirements
Adequate visual acuity and manual dexterity required, with a standard waterfront office work environment.
