- Greet and assist visitors, patients, and clients in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual
- Schedule appointments and manage calendars for staff members
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records or other relevant documentation
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and efficient operations
- Assist with billing and insurance claims processing as needed
- Handle confidential information with discretion and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist, or similar role is preferred
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office; Excel knowledge strongly preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of medical scheduling procedures and terminology
- Familiarity with medical records management systems
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate effectively with others
