    Job Details


    The Coordinator will be responsible for Coordination of monthly Department of Surgery Performance Improvement meetings, including case referrals, minute preparation and necessary follow-up.

    Renders administrative assistance to the Director of Surgery, and the Director of Advanced Practice Providers. Tracks & updates all practitioner expirations and maintains departmental database. Will provide administrative support and coordinate various tasks within the department. The ideal candidate will have experience in a medical receptionist role, with knowledge of Epic software.


    Responsibilities:

    • Greet and assist visitors, patients, and clients in a professional and friendly manner
    • Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual
    • Schedule appointments and manage calendars for staff members
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records or other relevant documentation
    • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and efficient operations
    • Assist with billing and insurance claims processing as needed
    • Handle confidential information with discretion and adhere to HIPAA regulations
    • Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence

    Qualifications:

    • Previous experience as a medical receptionist, or similar role is preferred
    • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office; Excel knowledge strongly preferred
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
    • Knowledge of medical scheduling procedures and terminology
    • Familiarity with medical records management systems
    • Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate effectively with others
    Salary Range

    USD $ USD $32.00 /Hr.


    This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.

    The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
