WHO WE ARE
This position will work directly with the RESPECT program. RESPECT is the central nonprofit agency for Florida.

RESPECT works with nonprofit organizations around the state to employ persons with disabilities to produce products and services that are sold to state and local government agencies.

RESPECT products and services span technologies and industries and provide a wide array of training opportunities for Florida's citizens with disabilities.

The RESPECT program ensures a constant market for these products and services to participating government agencies, enabling the program to provide jobs to individuals with disabilities.


POSITION OVERVIEW


The person in this role will be responsible for the development and management of RESPECT service contracts for the Central Florida region (Marion, Flagler, Citrus, Hernando, Sumter, Lake, Seminole, Volusia, Pasco, Orange, Brevard, Pinellas, Hillsborough, Polk, Osceola, Manatee, and Hardee counties.).

Position requires frequent weekday overnight intrastate travel. Remote work will be considered depending on the applicant's relevant experience.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Makes frequent and routine trips in and around Florida to territories of responsibility and others as assigned.
  • Performs contract bidding, negotiation, implementation, inspection, and oversight.
  • Acts as an agent for the company by interfacing directly with customers, contractors, and vendors.
  • Review contractual documents and performance requirements to ensure adherence to company policy, government specification and requirements, customer specifications, conformance to agreements and accordance with legal requirements.
  • Monitors Employment Centers and assigned job sites to ensure contract compliance and quality services, and identifies needs for efficient and safe activities, training, procedures. Recommends additional monitoring and corrective action as necessary.
  • Establishes and maintains an effective relationship with appropriate key government personnel and partner staff throughout the assigned geographical area for the purpose of new opportunity RESPECT services.
  • Monitors and provides technical assistance to partner nonprofit Employment Centers in the development of service contracts, as needed.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of specific strategies to enhance effective and positive relations with RESPECT Employment Centers.
  • Maintains a log of all work activities in SalesForce CRM and submits activity reports on a scheduled basis to the RESPECT Contracts Quality Assurance Manager.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of training activities for employment centers.
  • Assists participating Employment Centers in the resolution of service quality and/or and unsafe activities and/or procedures.
  • Develops specific capacity goals in conjunction with the RESPECT Contracts Quality Assurance Manager.
  • Plans and conducts meetings, walkthroughs and presentations to potential customers.
  • Develops and implements effective followup activities with customers, potential customers, and Employment Centers.
  • Responsible for initial pricing and contract life budgeting of opportunities and contracts in assigned geographical region.
  • Provides support in other areas of Florida as needed.
  • Represents the RESPECT program at various meetings and conferences.
  • Performs other duties as required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:


  • Must have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) and familiarity with databases, data input and customer relationship management (CRM) software.
  • Ability to produce accurate work products on a deadline.
  • Ability to review and monitor policies and procedures for compliance with applicable requirements.
  • Ability to develop and organize data into logical format for presentation in reports, proposals and other written documents.
  • Ability to evaluate and analyze data to assess compliance with contract requirements.
  • Ability to utilize problemsolving techniques.
  • Ability to plan, organize prioritize and coordinate work assignments and handle pressure.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Must have a demonstrated success record in project management.
  • Ability to work with customers and work centers in the resolution of service related problems.
  • Ability and willingness to initiate and adapt to change as necessary.
  • Ability to work independently and act decisively within the boundaries of the position.
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor, a positive attitude, create and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Must pass all criminal background clearances.
  • Must have a current, valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Graduation from a 4-year College or Un
