General Summary of PositionUnit Highlights
Nurses on 4NE care for complex Cardiacpatients. Patients on this unit are mostlypost cardiac procedures. We workclosely with EP lab, Cath lab, and heart failure.Many of our patients havemultiple co-morbidities in addition to cardiac issues. Thisallows our nursesto experience and learn a great deal. 4NE is unique in that 6 of our 30bedsare classified as IMC. These patients have a higher need of care andrequirecloser observation. We also work closely with the appointed residentteam andhospitalist. Our nurses are dedicated to providing excellent nursingcare. We enjoy themultiple opportunities to learn and care for a multitude ofintricate patients.
Key Responsibilities
As a Clinical Nurse you will deliver proficient nursing care to patients and families whose needs range from uncomplicated to highly complex. You will identify current and potential complex problems of specific patient populations and critically analyzes trends and changes in patient status and plans appropriate interventions directly or indirectly through other nurses.
