- Lead a team of learning & talent development professionals responsible for executing on the talent development business strategies.
- Develop and implement leadership development strategy that aligns with SCAH's mission, vision, and values.
- Lead the design, implementation, and governance of the learning ecosystem including the learning management system.
- Manage and negotiate contracts with external partners and fully leverage vendor relationships to ensure the best outcomes for SCAH.
- Develop and deploy enterprise learning programs in person, online, and in a hybrid model leveraging the full learning ecosystem.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through the analysis of EXI data, learner feedback, and operational metrics.
- Work closely with UHG and Optum to ensure close alignment with enterprise Employee Experience, and Learning and Development strategy and programs.
- Invest in the ongoing development of talent development team members, providing subject matter expertise and leadership coaching, support and building of a strong talent bench for the long term.
- Lead with influence and partner with HR business partners and business stakeholders to ensure the talent development programs are integrated into broader HR and business strategies.
- BA/BS required or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 10 years of business experience with strong knowledge and working experience with talent management, organizational design, organizational management, and change management practices
- Proven ability to effectively lead and develop team members
- Ability to think strategically and translate business needs into actionable items
- Well-developed consulting and coaching skills, including the ability to conceptualize a wide range of business problems and create custom solutions/interventions
- Strong consultative and diagnostic skills
- Ability to engage with senior business leaders and senior HR leaders, to assess organizational issues and develop appropriate solutions
- Ability to influence leaders and communicate effectively through organizational complexity and ambiguity
- Strong critical thinking skills, including data analytic abilities
- Proven project management skills and process excellence, with the ability to manage multiple projects, multi-task and prioritize effectively
- A collaborative mindset, with the ability to form effective working relationships quickly with different stakeholders
