Mark's Episcopal School in Houston, Texas is seeking energetic and creative team players to serve in our Summer at St.

Mark's Summer Camp Program. We are looking for dynamic, forward-thinking, and student-centered people who enjoy children and enjoy working with children. Summer Staff positions are part-time and non-exempt.

Hourly Rate Range:
$15/hr - $18/hr


Primary Functions:

  • Supervising students during ageappropriate activities.
  • Distribute and oversee afternoon snacks and lunchtime.
  • Supervise recess time and ensure safety guidelines are observed.
  • Assist with dismissal and parent pickup.

Required Skills:


  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Available 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday during the summer camp weeks.
  • Childcare and/or teaching experience with children ages 4 to 14 is strongly preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds; to bend, stoop, and reach overhead.
  • Ability to work outside in inclement and hot weather.
