    50 Job ShiftDayDescriptionThe Leisure Sales Associate is accountable for fulfilling daily operations of the reservations department for Blackberry Farm, LLC properties reservation calls, internet reservations, information and email requests, special projects and assisting the department and property.
    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    Accepts and enters all phone/e-mail requests for reservations in a professional and timely mannerSets traces, enters and communicates special requests to the rest of the propertyResponds to all internal and external emails in a timely mannerUnderstands the history of Blackberry Farm, LLC properties, all activities offered and all other components of the guest experienceSells and reserves all gift certificates and track them according to policy for Blackberry Farm, LLC propertiesLearns all rates, special events rates, standard offerings, travel agent rates, blackout dates and minimum night staysLearns and follow all Blackberry Farm, LLC policies for each reservationChecks all reservations daily to ensure accuracy with traces, remarks and depositsAssists the Reservations Supervisor with reports, commission payment and daily tasks as assignedEnters accurate demographic information into database for marketing and direct mail projectsMonitors website content to ensure accurate information is posted on all sitesEnsures guest requests are fulfilled and expectations are met or exceededMust comply with all company policies and procedures.

    Must be able to work well with other Team Members, Managers and interact with our guests. To perform the essential functions of this position, regular and consistent attendance is required.

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCECollege degree preferred but not required1-2 years' experience in sales and/or customer serviceExcellent telephone skills, typing proficiency, computer experience and strong organizational skills requiredExperience in Property Management Systems a plusLANGUAGE SKILLS Must have excellent verbal and written communication skillsMATHEMATICAL SKILLSBasic mathematical skills and understanding of reporting, statistics and budgetsREASONING ABILITYMust be able to exercise judgment and make decisions based on job knowledge and awareness of company goals PHYSICAL DEMANDSMust be able to sit for long periods of time, work extensively on the computer and phone while multi-tasking to complete daily responsibilities95% computer and phone workMust be able to safely operate a company vehicle or golf cartWORK ENVIRONMENTGeneral Office Operations Support Center in Maryville, TNQualificationsHigh Hampton, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, has inspired residents and guests to connect with nature and each other for 96 years.
