Nuclear Medicine Technologist at Providence Newberg Medical Center in Newberg, OR.
Full-Time/Day Shift - Working Monday- Friday from 8am-4:30pm
$6,000 Sign-on Bonus for eligible external candidates who meet all conditions for payment – this is in addition to the fantastic benefits and compensation package offered by Providence that begin on your first day of employment.
Performs Nuclear Medicine examinations for diagnostic and therapeutic (site specific) purposes under the direction of a physician.

Prepares patient, prepares and administers prescribed dose of radioactive pharmaceuticals and non-radioactive pharmaceuticals, performs calculations and manipulates data according to established parameters.

Ensures proper preparation and/or ordering of radioactive material, calibrates equipment, assures appropriate quality control, monitors patients and performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.

Oregon Nuclear Medicine Technologist Or

Upon hire:
Oregon Nuclear Medicine Technologist Temporary

Upon hire:
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: National Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Or
Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board

Preferred Qualification:
2 years of Clinical experience as Nuclear Medicine Technologist.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.

These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
