Description:This candidate will be responsible for preventative maintenance, repair, and modification to tooling, large dies, and related machinery in a safe and orderly fashion in a Tier-1 automotive manufacturing facility
Additional Job Duties:
+ Repair and maintain large production tools and dies (die casting)+ Verify conformance of machined or repaired dies to specifications by checking dimensions, clearances and alignments+ Troubleshoot issues during production+ Perform MIG, TIG, and ARC welding and fabrication+ Modify dies to conform to engineering changes; conduct tryouts of new dies+ Work off blueprints, sketches, written and verbal instructions+ Maintain and update equipment records, schematics, blueprints and files in orderly fashion+ Operate lift truck, overhead crane, floor scrubber and equipment to wash dies+ Complete correspondence, forms and reports using personal computer and required software
Pay/Schedule:+ Openings on 2nd and 3rd shift+ 2nd Shift Hours - 2:30 PM to 10:40 PM (1 opening)+ 3rd Shift Hours - 10:30 PM to 6:40 AM (2 openings)+ Up to $39.70 an hour depending on experience and certifications+ Possible 60-70 hour work weeks; Many opportunities for overtime available
