    Job Description

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Must be able to troubleshoot conditions in a production setting
    • Perform die set operations
    • Perform PM's on metal stamping dies
    • Perform quality checks
    • Perform other duties as required
    • Complete all required and applicable training required
    • This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by this employee. The employee is expected to perform other duties necessary for the effective operation of the department.

    Education / Experience / Skills:
    High School Education or Equivalent (GED)

    Accountabilities:
    This position reports directly to the Tooling Supervisor who is responsible for their department.


    Qualifications:

    • Journeyman Tool and Die Card from the Department of Labor preferred.
    • Previous experience working as a Die Maker
    • Experience working in a metal stamping facility
    • Experience with large transfer and progressive dies a plus
    • Able to lift 40 lbs. frequently depending upon rework
    • Standing 8 or more hours, walking to assist in seat build, rework, etc...
    • Ability to solve problems and work with support personnel
    • Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
    • Must be able to meet the requirements of being able to work in the United States (INS Form I9).

    EHS Requirements:

    • Adhere to all Health, Safety and Environmental Standards
    • Report occupational injuries, illnesses and accidents
    • Report hazardous, unsafe and unhealthy conditions

    Education / Experience / Skills:
    High School Education or Equivalent (GED)

    Does not need automotive experience
