(SFI) is a company that offers IT solutions to federal, state, and local governments as well as the private sector.

Currently, SFI is seeking a highly qualified Meeting Support Specialist with excellent communication skills.

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) needs support in project management to assist with various aspects of the Center for Drug Evaluation and Research's (CDER) Office of New Drugs (OND) New Drug Review Program and Non-Prescription Monograph Program.

Required services include new drug public meetings, workshops, and face-to-face sponsor meeting coordination support.


Primary Responsibilities:


  • Work with upperlevel management.
  • Government experience preferred working with the FDA a plus.
  • Assist with PowerPoint decks for kickoffs and leadership reviews as requested.
  • Assist with the development of meeting forms, templates, and SOPs.
  • Use virtual meeting software (Adobe Connect, MS Teams, Zoom) to host virtual public meetings, symposia, and sponsor meetings.
  • Use schedule management software to support the coordination of multiple overlapping meetings in different formats.
  • Assist with the development of content for external and internal web pages.
  • Take part in lessonslearned meetings.
  • Assist with the development of status reports and dashboards outlining public and sponsor meeting support metrics.
  • Support project managers in the development of Federal Register notices and ensure timely submission of the notices.
  • Facilitate coordination of logistics documentation.
  • Help with coordination and management of speaker, presentation needs, and logistics requirements for virtual and onsite meetings.
  • Complete speaker preparations walkthroughs and rehearsals.
  • Manage visitor security clearance processes.
  • Support conference room reservations and confirm visitor attendees.
  • As required and requested, provide onsite support at FDA's White Oak campus.
  • Provide dayof onsite and virtual public meeting support.
  • Capture meeting minutes and coordinate with FDA staff to develop a final draft of meeting minutes.
  • Provide escort services for facetoface sponsor meetings.
  • Maintain a positive, clientfocused attitude while juggling multiple projects and timelines.

Requirements:


  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience is required.
  • Ability to fulfill all of the primary responsibilities above.
  • Able to be professional in a fastpaced environment with many different personalities.
  • Demonstrated experience with meeting planning/management and scientific review meetings is highly preferred.

Additional Information:

Public Trust background investigations can take approximately four to eight weeks and require fingerprinting.

Other Information:


  • The salary for this position is
    $55,000 $70,000 annually
  • This is a fulltime W2 position.
