The ELSTER WERKE non-profit GmbH is a recognized workshop for people with disabilities in the state of Brandenburg.

For over 30 years, we have been providing appropriate vocational training and employment opportunities for people with various disabilities to participate in the workforce.


To strengthen our team in the Education and Social Services department, we are currently looking for a
JOB COACH WfbM (m/f/d) for the Elbe-Elster and Teltow-Fläming districts, starting as soon as possible.

The position is preferably full-time with 40 hours per week.


Your responsibilities:

  • Preparation and support of workshop employees (people with disabilities) in transitioning from the workshop to the general job market
  • Acquisition of internships and job placements in local companies
  • Facilitation of placement processes: creating application documents, application coaching, organizing company internships and outsourced jobs, including preparing contractual documents
  • Accompaniment of workshop employees at their workplace through regular company visits
  • Planning and conducting seminar days and group activities
  • Consulting and supporting cooperating companies
  • Collaboration and coordination with social service professionals and workshop group leaders
  • Documentation and reporting, as well as administrative tasks

We expect:

  • A pedagogical qualification or completed vocational training with additional qualification in special education (e.g. Certified Specialist for Work and Vocational Development) or a degree in Social Pedagogy/Social Work, training as a work therapist, or a degree in personnel services or a comparable education
