Description

Student Services Instructional Coaches in Franklin are a critical lever in improving student achievement, specifically for students with suspected and identified disabilities.

The primary and essential function of the Coach's role is focused on professional development of staff through multiple venues such as 1:1 coaching, team coaching, consulting, collaborative planning, small and large group facilitation with emphasis on equity, access and meaningful engagement for all students.

The Coach will ensure growth in teacher practice that results in increased student achievement and closing gaps to ensure at least one year's growth in one year's time.

Coaches work at a system level and are assigned to work with school staff based on the tactics of our district coherence plan and student needs.
