- The Director, Architecture Financial Operations Platforms will collaborate with business leadership and engineering partners to develop advanced platforms for financial operations, including payments, taxation, pricing, trading, and reconciliation.
- Lead the creation of next-generation software platforms in a top-tier high-volume financial company.
- Work closely with business sponsors, project managers, engineers, and architects to design, implement, test, and deploy end-to-end technology solutions.
- Champion innovation, drive standardization, and implement modern technology patterns across the stack.
- BS or MS in Education required.
- 10+ years of experience in architecting distributed systems and applications.
- 3+ years of AWS and/or Azure experience; certification is a plus.
- Strong capability in analyzing business direction, understanding long-term vision, and developing strategic technical solutions.
- Experience with multiple enterprise technologies.
- Expertise in APIs, microservices architecture, infrastructure, data architecture, security, and new technologies.
- Knowledge in technical architecture aspects like operational excellence, security, reliability, and performance efficiency.
- Understanding of agile development and DevOps practices.
- Ability to provide technical leadership to agile teams and drive resolution to technical issues.
- Strong communication and influencing skills for collaboration across different levels of the organization.
- Passion for staying updated on technology trends and driving innovation.
- Experience in networking across business units for optimizing processes and practices.
- Financial industry experience preferred.
