Kafka Admin with Linux
Location:
NYC NY(3 days onsite in week)
Skills:
- Develop shell scripts to automate routine tasks and system administration activities.
- Expertise on Linux OS and the commands
- Maintain and enhance existing shell scripts to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Deploy and configure Kafka clusters in production and nonproduction environments.
- Monitor Kafka clusters and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Kafka & shell script related issues, such as performance bottlenecks, data loss, and replication problems.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to design and implement Kafkabased solutions for data integration and streaming analytics.
- Implement security policies and access controls to protect Kafka infrastructure and data.
- Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline Kafka administration tasks.
- Stay up to date with Kafka & Shell Scripting best practices, new features, and industry trends.
