Responsibilities:


  • Coordinate and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities of equipment, machinery, and facilities.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical problems related to the maintenance of equipment and machinery.
  • Manage the inventory of spare parts and materials necessary for maintenance.
  • Coordinate with external suppliers and contractors for specialized services.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations in maintenance operations.

Requirements:


  • Technical knowledge in mechanics, electricity, electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics, etc.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in similar activities in the Metal Recycling or Shredder industries.
  • Ability to maximize the availability and efficiency of equipment and machinery.
  • Proficiency in minimizing downtime due to technical problems or equipment failures.
  • Capacity to ensure maintenance of a safe work environment and comply with environmental regulations (OSHA).
  • Strong leadership skills to lead and motivate a team of technicians and maintenance personnel.
  • Ability to effectively manage resources and maintenance budgets.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and environmental regulations (OSHA).
