Position Summary:


Core Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Work with SEIA staff, association members, and partners to create digital projects from concept to completion
  • Generate ideas and illustration concepts for the solar and solar storage industry
  • Manage all facets of production for social and digital content, including video, audio, visual effects, and graphics
  • Conduct preproduction meetings with members, as well as schedule and coordinate all interviews and video shoots
  • Write scripts, shoot, edit, and publish short videos that are optimized for online audiences
  • Coordinate and organize production and editorial schedules and calendars
  • Create, upload, and organize all digital content as needed
  • Research, organize, and create content segments
  • Draft budget needs for all video projects, including travel, stock imagining, and editing
  • Manage the approval process for all content
  • Upload and maintain content on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter/X
  • Manage the production of video projects from start to finish, including scheduling, work plans, internal teams, clients, and thirdparty vendors
  • Provide creative and visual solutions for complex projects.

Requirements:


Professional Experience, Education & Other Qualifications

  • 25 years of professional experience in television, radio, film, sound production or new media
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, design, or a related field
  • Digital and video editing, video production
  • Script Writing
  • Graphic and logo design
  • Promotional material content
  • Video Production for online optimization
  • Strong Organization and project management skills
  • Knowledge of storytelling and how to create compelling narrative structure
  • Extensive knowledge of social media platforms and content
  • Experience and knowledge in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Microsoft Office
  • Ability to working independently and as part of a team
  • Spanish fluency is a plus

Working Conditions

  • This position is based in headquarters in Washington, DC.
  • SEIA employees in the Washington, D.C. region follow a hybrid remote and inperson office model. Employees work 3 days a week in an office environment and as needed when there are special events or meetings but otherwise, can be remote.
  • Some travel requirements for this position to industry events and site visits around the country.

Compensation Range
$80,000-$85,000 annually, based on experience and excellent benefits package
