Duties:


  • You will serve as advisor and consultant to MARFORCOM AC/S G2 on Global Force Management of Marine intelligence personnel and intelligence systems capabilities and readiness of Marine intelligence systems elements throughout the Operating Forces.
  • You will advise on intelligence systems capability requirements, intelligence training requirements/training readiness, joint and service intelligence concept and doctrine development and intelligence analysis and production to support the command.
  • As leader of the largest organization in the MARFORCOM G2 Division, you will plan and direct all major actions of the MARFORCOM G2 Division exclusive of HUMINT/CI, IT Systems Administration, and Special Security Office.
  • You will coordinate Operations Branch activities among three other G2 branches and other MARFORCOM staff sections.
  • You will analyze and recommend command positions on new intelligence concepts and capabilities within the MCISRE, including changes to Programs of Record and modifications to Tables of Organization and Equipment within the Operating Forces.
  • You will supervise the provision of intelligence support to Commander, MARFORCOM, including the development of intelligence products and information to support deliberate, contingency and crisis planning.

  • This position may require a 2year DCIPS trial period requirement.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications:


  • Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as: 1) Supervising the provision of intelligence support to Commander, MARFORCOM, including the development of intelligence products and information to support deliberate, contingency and crisis planning for the organization; 2) Planning, directing, assigning, leading and monitoring the work of active duty and civilian personnel hiring, managing and appraising employee performance, disciplining employees, and enabling professional development; 3) Serving as the commands Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Marine Corps and Joint service intelligence organization and command relationships at the service component level, and on Marine Corps intelligence organizations, doctrine, and concept of employment, to include specific intelligence disciplines; 4) Identifying and coordinating solutions for immediate and nearterm Marine Air-Ground Task Force (MAGTF) intelligence capability deficiencies and emerging requirements, including equipment and training, to support operations and exercises
