Hiring Opportunity:

Bryan OHOur client is looking for an Industrial Engineer to join their growing engineering team Our client is a leading manufacturing company in the Food Industry and specialize in Candy The Industrial Engineer will be responsible for applying engineering techniques to the manufacturing process to generate effective cost reductions and controls, making certain activities conform to management"s objectives and corporate policies.

Qualified candidates will have an engineering background with experience in improving manufacturing processes.

Job RequirementsQualifications:

Engineering background to include an engineering degree (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering preferred)
Ability to read, write, follow instructions, perform mathematical calculations, record/report information and draw conclusions from visual and/or physical inspection of assigned tasks.
Experience improving manufacturing processes to include identifying best practicesResponsibilities:
Estimates production costs and the effects of production design change as a cost saving measure.
Establishes labor standards that are accurate and appropriate for the particular operation(s) and measure these standards to ensure their accuracy and notifies production supervisors when the standards are not being attained.
Coordinate and implement quality control objectives, activities or procedures to resolve production problems, maximize product reliability, or minimize costs
Develop and design robust manufacturing concepts to simplify/improve manufacturing processes to ensure best practice
Assists production with method improvements
Maintains knowledge of best practices in manufacturing methods, and trends and developments in technology and equipment; applies this knowledge to maintain the organizations competitive edge
