    We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team in Chicago, IL.

    Job Description:

    As an Associate Structural Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and analysis of industrial projects, focusing primarily on new structural spaces.

    With a minimum of 10 years of experience in the field, you will bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our team.


    Your responsibilities will include:
    Collaborating with project teams to develop creative and efficient structural solutions for industrial facilities.
    Conducting structural analysis and calculations to ensure designs meet regulatory standards and project requirements.
    Utilizing advanced engineering software and tools to model and simulate structural behavior.
    Participating in site visits and inspections to assess existing structures and identify potential design challenges.
    Providing technical guidance and mentor-ship to junior engineers and interns.
    Communicating effectively with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to address project needs and specifications.
    Remaining up-to-date with industry trends, codes, and best practices to enhance project outcomes and team capabilities.

    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Master's degree preferred.
    Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Illinois or ability to obtain within six months.
    Minimum of 10 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on industrial projects.
    Proficiency in structural analysis software such as ETABS, SAP2000, or STAAD.Pro.
    Strong understanding of relevant building codes and regulations, including ACI, AISC, and IBC.
    Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively to overcome design challenges.
    Effective communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.
    Proven track record of successfully managing projects and meeting deadlines.
    Experience working in a collaborative team environment.
