Responsibilities

Required Skills:
Proficiency in healthcare billing software and electronic medical record (EMR) systems.


  • Experience with PointClickCare a plus.&
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.&Exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams.&
  • 35 years of handson billing and collections experience, demonstrating a strong understanding of industry nuances.
  • Process monthly resident billing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Answer billing questions from residents and family members.&
  • Gather, process, and submit timely resident billing information to our thirdparty biller for the monthly Medicare and Medicaid billing.&
  • Work closely with our therapy department and MDS coordinator to ensure the accuracy of resident Medicare information and proper adherence to Medicare guidelines.&
  • Process and submit coinsurance claims to insurance providers, and followup on any unpaid or shortpaid reimbursements.
  • Process electronic payments and post them into the company s EMR and accounting software by gathering the required information from thirdparty portals.&
  • Process and post payments from residents and insurance companies into the company s EMR and accounting software.&
  • Maintain PNA (Personal Needs Allowance) bank accounts.&
  • Maintain uptodate knowledge of billing requirements for Medicare, Medicaid, and thirdparty payors.&
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely data entry.&
  • Prepare information for Medicare/Medicaid annual cost reports as needed. Other responsibilities as deemed necessary.

Requirements:

Experience with Medical Records platform (Point Click Care)

Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
