The Position

As a colleague in our tank storage facility, you will be part of a motivated team that ensures the smooth operation of our plant in Smithboro.

Whether in the control room or outside at the facility, you will experience a diverse workplace and supply the region with important fuels.

You will actively control the loading and unloading of tank trucks, ships, and railcars, while ensuring the quality and quantity of products.

In addition, the team will perform minor repairs, maintenance, and cleaning tasks.

Your Main Tasks

Handling and coordinating the storage and retrieval of products via tank trucks, ships, and railcars
Conducting checks on storage, such as monitoring for losses or gains, tank levels, and inventory levels
Sampling and basic analysis
Reconciling physical inventory with book inventory
Monitoring activities of external companies
Maintenance, repairs, and cleaning tasks
Regular visual and functional checks of all plant components

Your Profile

A technical or mechanical education is desirable. Through your professional experience, you have not only gained technical knowledge, but also commercial understanding and experience with computer systems and Microsoft Office.
