Position Summary:


Responsible for the day-to-day functions related to facilities (Maintenance/Engineering, Environmental Services) as defined by the Maintenance Supervisor for the facilities.


Salary Range:

$26 - $34 per hour DOE

Hours:

8 per Day / 5 Days per Week


Categories of Duties:


  • Evaluates maintenance and safety issues and priorities within the programs and services throughout locations.
  • Provides implementation of repair and maintenance work as defined by the Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Assists with the coordination of security, housekeeping, maintenance, facilities support services, and outside contractors towards the overall goal of improvement of the physical plant.
  • Assists with the management of supplies and requests for needed materials, and communicates this to the Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Consults with the Maintenance Supervisor and provides leadership and support to the maintenance team.
  • Attends meetings as required including staff meetings, in-service education, and trainings.
  • Fully understands and maintains policies regarding professional ethics, including appropriate boundaries and patient confidentiality.
  • Conducts self in a professional manner in areas of dress, language, attitude, and behavior.
  • Exhibits full knowledge and support of the philosophy and objectives of the Agency.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor, Director, and/or Administration.

Education/Experience:


  • Minimum one (1) year experience in a facilities role
  • Knowledge of JCAHO preparation helpful

None required
