    Description

    Quality CoordinatorStatus:
    Part Time - 32 hours per week

    Job Summary:

    The Quality Coordinator will assist the QMRC in managing the development, implementation, and evaluation of the hospital's overall quality improvement (QI) program that includes ancillary, nursing, and medical staff departments to identify trends, prioritize and recommend improvements, and ensure Joint Commission Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) and other regulatory agency standards are met.

    The Quality Improvement Coordinator will also assist in the investigation of incident reports, patient complaints, patient care issues, and other duties as assigned by the QMRC.


    Qualifications:
    High School Education with an associate degree in health care related field preferred.3-5 years' experience in a hospital environment
