- Lead the team of Indoor Attendants, ensuring high standards of customer service year-round by working at the highest level of guest satisfaction.
- Manage volunteers engaged in guest experience activities.
- Serve as an ambassador for Spirit Mountain at the resort and in the community.
- Help develop employee schedules considering demands and workforce availability.
- Assist with payroll duties and approving coverages.
- Handle challenging customer-facing situations with professionalism and etiquette.
- Be an expert on the POS system, In Touch, to help with troubleshooting, training, and data analytics.
- Enforce resort policies and operational standards among team members.
- Collaborate with the Director of Marketing to align operational goals and implement strategies for revenue growth.
- Be available to attend to operational needs during weekends, holidays, peak hours, or emergencies, including being on-call for unexpected situations.
- Oversee administrative tasks associated with the management of indoor operations.
- Work with the Director of Marketing to grow events, sales, and overall excitement about Spirit Mountain.
- Help build marketing plans and ensure sales growth throughout the resort.
- Work in a front-line setting with guests.
- Associate's degree (Bachelor's degree preferred) or comparable work experience.
- At least 1 year of managerial experience, including system administration in a POS System.
- At least 2 years of customer service experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, and be available on short notice.
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with staff and guests.
- Proficient in conflict resolution and handling difficult conversations.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Experience with multiple creative platforms.
- Knowledge of social media platforms and website development.
- Ability to research industry trends.
- Basic IT knowledge for troubleshooting computers and printers.
- Must be able to work in a dynamic and sometimes physically demanding environment (e.g., assisting with indoor tasks).
- Must be able to work in high-demand environments dealing with both difficult customer interactions and natural occurrences such as severe weather, emergencies, etc.
- Availability to work non-standard hours and on-call shifts, including weekends and holidays.
