Process Safety Management Coordinator
Manage compliance activities associated with Process Safety Management / Risk Management Planning for ammonia refrigeration systems at three Boston area manufacturing operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
(Other duties may be assigned as necessary.)
- Manage documentation associated with daily refrigeration system rounds.
- Manage documentation associated with all preventive maintenance functions of refrigeration systems.
- Manage all documentation for 14 elements of PSM/RMP programs.
- Perform system inspections including rooftop and equipment rooms.
- Perform daily refrigeration equipment operating condition inspections on a backup basis.
- Conduct contractor safety orientation.
- These programs will be maintained as required by federal, state, and local law.
- Manage to understand interpretations of construction and safety codes as related to operating an ammonia system safely and efficiently.
- Able to work with the safety department to help audit the contractor safety evaluations as required by 29CFR
- Maintain all PSM documentation and training records that pertain to the PSM & RMP program.
- Organize, schedule, and conduct PSM meetings, compile and maintain PSM action item logs, assist in completing items on the action item log for each location.
- Assist in developing, organizing, recordkeeping schedules, and conducting training programs for the refrigeration system.
- Coordinate the review of SOPs for the refrigeration system, and ensure that all P&IDs are up to date.
- Review all PMs for mechanical Integrity compliance, and ensure that all piping is labeled, and valve numbers are in place and accurate.
Job Qualifications
- 35 years working in a manufacturing environment.
- High School diploma or its equivalency, A.S. degree preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent telephone, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Auto-Cad proficiency a plus.
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic math such as able to work fractions, ratios, and percentages.
- Ability to read and understand complex regulatory requirements.
- Must be able to attend and participate in the Process Safety Management course.
- Knowledge of OSHA PSM Standard.
- Ability to work fractions, ratios, and percentages.
- Ability to solve problems effectively and efficiently through standard procedures.
- Ability to work independently and implement proper procedures as required.
- Ability to withstand routine exposure to cold temperatures.
- Experience with Process Safety Management and / or Risk Management Planning a plus.
Must be 18 years or older to be employed at Monogram Foods
Pay:
From $30.00 per hour
Expected hours:
No less than 40 per week

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Ability to Relocate:
- Wilmington, MA 01887: Relocate before starting work (required)
