Job summary
The Circulation Supervisor role involves coordinating day-to-day operations of a branch library's circulation unit.
Duties include directing automated circulation functions preparing staff schedules maintaining knowledge of Integrated Library System (ILS) supervising reconciliation of funds collected from fees overseeing damaged library materials advising staff on circulation policies documenting procedures receiving requests for information resolving questions answering telephone calls providing reference services assisting with bibliographic instruction consulting with branch manager.
