Duties:


  • In a patron usage facility, circulates among patrons to ensure service is satisfactory.
  • Receives and resolves customer complaints.
  • Provides information and general instructions on the use of equipment, facilities and machinery.
  • Assists patrons in use of the facility by checking out equipment using Point of Sale (POS) system; provides safety instruction, demonstrates new equipment.
  • Plans, conducts, publicizes and arranges support for special events, social activities, tournaments and related functions.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:


Conditions of Employment:


  • Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
  • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
  • A one year probationary period may be required.
  • Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
  • Satisfactory completion of a minimum of 4 hours initial food sanitation and safety training is required within 30 days of employment and a minimum of 4 hours refresher training annually.
  • Subject to satisfactory completion of all preemployment checks in accordance with AR 2153, para 2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
  • Must be willing to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
  • Incumbent may also be required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally controlled facilities.

PCS Costs

  • Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs
    are not authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move
    is not in the Government's interest.

Pay-Band (NF or CY) Allowances and Differentials

  • This is a paybanded position.
  • Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
    _If authorized, only regular (fulltime, parttime, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay._ When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of nonovertime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday).
