- Prepares various bread items for Eataly's restaurants and retail operations
- Follows proper proofing and baking techniques for each bread variety
- Maintains a clean and sanitary food production area as per health standards
- Works on mastering all shifts and production processes
- Assists Sales Associates when necessary and interacts with guests curious about our bread production
- Performs other required duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a baker preparation role
- Basic math and measuring skills
- Strong work ethic, communication, and time management skills
- Completion of a culinary program is highly preferred
- Flexible availability for onsite work, including evenings, weekends, and overnights
- Capability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Physical agility for up to 8 hours, involving standing, walking, bending, and squatting
- Experience with wood-burning oven, electric pizza convection oven, and commercial spiral mixer

In the 24-hour operating bakery at Eataly, we are looking for a Bread Baker responsible for crafting delicious bread and focaccia following authentic Italian recipes. This position reports to the Bakery Manager.
