Description
Responsibilities:
- Indepth knowledge of medical billing practices and procedures.
- Work directly with practitioners, coders, insurance companies and patients to resolve billing questions and issues.
- Knowledge of federal and state guidelines regarding payment scheduling and payment verification.
- Adhere to internal control standards.
- Maintain awareness of coding standards, charge master edits, and guidelines.
- Analyze account balances to identify erroneous claims or mischarges.
- Direct communication with Medical Management Software providers.
Pay:
$ $23.00 per hour
