Classification created to permit compensation to individuals performing research on Campus and in the Medical Center us ing University facilities without detailed supervision.
The use of this classification is reserved for those whose professional stature is equivalent to that of a full professor and may be used only with the approval of the Academic Appointments Sub-Group of the Academic Council.
This classification is administered on Campus through the Office of the Provost and in the Medical Center through the Office of the Chancellor for Health Affairs.
