Part‐Time Catering Assistant

Job Duties:
Prepping equipment (i.e. chafers, plates, cups, buffet décor, etc.); prepping beverages; on campus delivery with carts, no vehicles; Room set-up and break-down of on-campus meetings and catering events.


Knowledge & Experience:

Ability to work as a team player and individually; experience providing exceptional customer service; experience in a food and beverage setting.

Desired Experience:
Experience working in a college or corporate dining facility; experience with catering buffet set-up and roome set-up.


Special Working Conditions:

Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds; requires a food handler's card/certificate or the ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire.

Hours & Pay Rate:

Up to 19.5 hours per week;

Hours are between:

Monday - Friday, 6:00 am - 7 pm; Majority of events between 7am-4pm, exact shifts to be determined; Must be flexible.

Early mornings, weekends and evenings may be required for special events.

$14.25-$16.00/hour, DOE

This position is part-time.
