PART-TIME ACCESS TO JUSTICE NAVIGATOR

DEPARTMENT:
Elkhart County Judiciary-Court Services

HIRING RATE:
$20.92-$23.24/hour based on education and position related experience

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsibilities for assisting the increase in access to justice for individuals who cannot afford to hire or who choose not to hire and be represented by an attorney.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly preferred:

Associate degree in criminal justice preferred; pre-law, public administration, or related field or equivalent experience considered:

Practical knowledge of standard practices and procedures of the Court, legal terminology, and local judicial policies:

Working knowledge of issues facing people experiencing homelessness, violence, and poverty:

Ability to operate standard office equipment:
