We are actively looking to add multiple highly energetic and hospitality driven people to join our Food & Beverage team.
This position will be centered around front of house food service operations located at Cantigny Park including the Café, Cantigny's Beer Garden, Concert's and other specialty events as needed.
Job Pay
- $17 an hour plus tips
- Engage with Park guests to provide an exceptional Food & Beverage experience.
- Operates, maintains and stocks food & beverage items in proper display areas.
- Maintains high standards of cleanliness and sanitation keeping all areas and equipment clean on a daily basis.
- Have a basic knowledge of the operation of a kegerator system.
- Prepare various facilities for guests usage, including but not limited to the moving of furniture and inventory items.
- Ring up items promptly and accurately in the P.O.S system.
Education/Qualifications
- No experience necessary, however, any hospitality/customer service experience is helpful.
- Demonstrated quality interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure with mínimal supervision; goal oriented; work flexible hours as required including evenings/weekends.
- Positive attitude, professional manner and appearance in all situations.
- Works well with others.
Position Physical Requirements
- Read and write English.
- Communicate verbally with staff members and/or guests with or without the use of twoway radios.
- Stand, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp, bend and kneel for up to 8 hours at a time.
- Ability to lift to 40 pounds occasionally, and 20 pounds regularly
Other requirements
- Must have valid Basset and food handlers' safety certification by date of start
- All offers of employment are contingent upon completion of a background check and drug screen.
