The role reports to the Production Supervisor and is located in Hackettstown, New Jersey.

As a Material Handler, you will be conducting all activities related to the handling of parts and semi-finished or final products in the warehouse or to/from the production line.

Pay starts at $18.25 per hour (1st shift)

Your responsibilitiesExecutes the assigned work according to agreed workflows and in accordance with ABB standard processes and safety guidelinesResponsible for sorting and arranging material for storage as per guidelinesPerforms other routine activities according to established proceduresThe job includes picking components from stock for dispatch, final packing on pallets, transport of boxes, and various other collection, storage and warehouse activitiesOperates within standard operating procedures and maintains a clean work area Maintain professional work behaviour including approachability, patience, and mutual respectAll other duties, as assignedYour backgroundHigh School Diploma or GED equivalentAt least 1 to 2 years of experience in a warehouse environmentForklift certifiedAbility to stand for 8 hours and lift up to 40 poundsAbility to perform push and pull functionsCandidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the USMore about usWe look forward to receiving your application.
