Description

We are seeking a skilled Purchaser to join our dynamic team in the automotive industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing automotive parts, components, and materials to ensure the smooth operation of our production processes and the timely delivery of finished goods to our customers. This role requires excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of automotive supply chains, and the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.

Responsibilities:

Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, price, delivery, and reliability criteria.
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings and optimize supply chain efficiency.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their purchasing needs and requirements.
Develop and implement procurement strategies to mitigate risks and ensure continuity of supply.
Monitor market trends, industry developments, and supplier performance to identify opportunities and risks.
Manage inventory levels to minimize stockouts and excess inventory while optimizing working capital.
Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely receipt and distribution of purchased materials.
Resolve supplier issues, disputes, and quality concerns in a timely and effective manner.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier performance metrics.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Supply Chain Management, Accounting or related field.
5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management in the automotive industry.
Strong understanding of Metal Stamping.
Deep understanding of automotive manufacturing processes, materials, and components.
Proven negotiation skills and ability to drive cost savings and value creation.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
SAP platform experience is mandatory as well as Microsoft Excel.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
