Description
At the district office of Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald, located in Freiburg, there is a full-time position available in the Department of Health and Consumer Protection for a administrative assistant to be filled as soon as possible.
Your main tasks:
- Answering incoming calls and providing information
- Processing inquiries and summarizing and forwarding them to the responsible case managers
- Handling incoming and outgoing mail
- Scanning, sorting, and distributing digital mail
- Managing, distributing, and ordering office and consumable materials
- Organizing meetings, including taking minutes
- Processing requests and applications in the field of animal health and animal welfare
Your qualifications:
- Completed training as a public administration clerk, a comparable education, or at least a 3year commercial education
- Experience with document management systems is an advantage
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Organizational talent and ability to work independently
- Logicalanalytical thinking, enjoyment of structuring work processes, and good overall overview with strong memory skills
- Good communication skills and willingness to learn
- Enjoyment of working with people and ability to work in a team
