These job requirements allow the employee to work at a Lockheed Martin-designated office or job site for part of their schedule and has a predefined regular, recurring telework schedule for the remaining part of their work schedule.


Partners with Program & Senior Management and program team to drive cost, schedule, and technical performance by facilitating integration across all functions in support of Lockheed Martin IWSS NGS/Launchers Business Area.


Responsible for developing compliant Integrated Program Schedules which accurately validate the flow, budget, and resources required to execute contractual scope and overarching program strategy.


Provides the program with time-phased critical path predictive analysis and actionable planning data and develops recommended solutions to programmatic execution conflicts.

Ensures all commitments are tracked, monitored and statused.

Prepares/coordinates the development of planning artifacts for effective schedule performance management.

Ensures vertical and horizontal integration, and cost/schedule integration between all schedules and other program artifacts.


Devises modeling and measuring techniques to integrate risks and opportunities with schedule and cost baseline, and to perform schedule risk assessments.

Utilizes performance and health metrics analyses to drive actions resulting in improved program performance.

Regularly contributes to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards. Considered an emerging authority in field within the organization.

Develops solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and innovation. Ensures solutions are consistent with organization objectives.

Perform work without appreciable direction, ability to exercise considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Basic Qualifications:


Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 10 years of professional experience; or 8 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.

Considered an emerging authority.

Experience with networked schedules, integrity checks and critical path methodology

Experience with Schedule Performance Management Techniques, e.g., Earned Value Management, EIA-748 requirements

Experience with DI-MGMT-81861 Integrated Program Management Report (IPMR); Integrated Program Management Data and Analysis Report (IPMDAR) DI-MGMT-81861B/C requirements

Deltek Open Plan and PM Compass expertise

Experience with Schedule Risk Assessment process and tools

Experience in team coordination in an Integrated Product Team environment

Demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving abilities

Excellent presentation and communication skills

Familiar with Risk and Opportunity Management processes

Familiarity with Acumen

Ability to act as consultant to management and special external spokesperson for the organization on matters pertaining to its policies, plans, and objectives

Remote Telework:

The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.


Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.


Schedule for this Position:

4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
