The Welcome Gate Attendant is responsible for greeting guests arriving. He or she must be familiar with resort facilities and directions. Welcoming guests arriving to and from the property in an enthusiastic and courteous manner.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Greet guests upon their arrival.
  • Assist guests by providing clear and thorough directions.
  • Maintain welcome center office, inside and out.
  • Maintain steady traffic flow through the gate.
  • Greet and make eye contact with passing guests.
  • Stand in a posted position presenting a polite, professional image, awaiting guest requests.
  • Provide information regarding all facilities and services.
  • Maintaining a clean and professional appearance at all times
  • Addressing guests' needs and maintaining positive relationships to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Utilizing Forbes standards during all inperson and phone communication.
  • Ensuring that guests' requests are addressed in a prompt and efficient manner.
  • Other Job duties assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:


  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Previous supervisory experience is required.
  • Previous customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to speak English fluently.
  • Ability to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to move, lift, carry, and/or pull objects up to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time.
