    Description
    L.I.F.E. Inc. is growing and we have several openings for a skilled CNA. You will be responsible for ensuring that each individual receives the comprehensive and personalize care they need. Your role will involve monitoring vital signs, engaging in meaningful interactions with patients, and advocating for their well-being. We are looking for CNA's who are have experience or willing to be trained to do Clean intermittent catheterization (CIC).

    Certified Nursing Assistant Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Groom, and bathe patients with low mobility
    • Assists individuals with eating and taking medications as needed
    • Assists individuals with mobility needs, transferring them from wheelchair to bed
    • Adjust and position individuals in bed to prevent bedsores or any discomfort
    • Monitor individuals' stability by checking vital signs and weight, and reporting any changes to the nurse and medical staff
    • Obtain information about conditions and plans of treatment from healthcare providers
    • Check the physical conditions of the individuals each day and report any changes to the nurse
    • Change sheets on beds and restock supplies in rooms as needed.
    • Build long-lasting professional relationships with individuals, family members, and team members
    • Clean intermittent catheterization (CIC), under the direct supervision of an RN as per RNCMDN chapter 9. staff will undergo training with the RN delegating nurse on this specialized skill before performing the task, after demonstrating understanding of the techniques and precautions involve.
    • Performs related duties as assigned.
    Education/Qualifications (Skills and Abilities):
    • State Certified Nursing Assistant Certification.
    • Current CPR (American Heart Association).
    • Nursing degree from a CNA program.
    • Ability to think and work independently and with direction and communicate with staff members in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
