Description

As the Pharmacy Compliance Officer at Crossroads Chemists, you will play a critical role in maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as internal policies and procedures governing pharmacy operations.

You will work closely with pharmacy staff, management, and regulatory agencies to ensure adherence to standards of practice and promote a culture of compliance throughout the organization.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive pharmacy compliance programs and policies.
  • Monitor and audit pharmacy operations to identify areas of noncompliance and implement corrective actions.
  • Stay abreast of changes in pharmacy laws, regulations, and industry standards, and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular training sessions for pharmacy staff on compliancerelated topics, including HIPAA, controlled substances, and medication safety.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address compliance issues and develop strategies for continuous improvement.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies and coordinate inspections and audits as necessary.
  • Investigate and respond to compliance complaints and incidents, ensuring prompt resolution and documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to compliance activities and reporting.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Healthcare Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Licensed Pharmacist in the state of New Jersey.
  • Minimum of 35 years of experience in pharmacy compliance or regulatory affairs.
  • Strong knowledge of state and federal pharmacy laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Detailoriented with strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing compliance programs and initiatives.

Pay:
$50, $75,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift

Ability to Relocate:

  • Edison, NJ: Relocate before starting work (required)
