- First month shadowing a senior salesperson, learning the company process.
- Month 2 working side by side with senior salesperson, hands on training.
- Month 3 senior salespersons shadowing you, this is the grooming process.
- Continually increase your knowledge of the sales process.
- Prospecting and Qualifying Clients
- Performing roof inspections based on the company standard.
- Creating inspection reports for the client to review in a timely manner.
- Creating Estimates based on the client's request.
- Creating and presenting the Proposal to the client.
- Providing next steps for the client.
- Keeping the customer informed on the progress of their project.
- Consistently follow up with the client.
- Taking care of tasks set forth in CRM.
- Asking for referrals and reviews after the project is completed.
- Attending all safety meetings and being able to fill out an incident report.
- Learning how to use tools and equipment properly.
- Attending trainings on installation of the various systems Grand View provides
- Attending weekly sales meeting in person.
- Entering weekly sales numbers into Sales Numbers spread sheet.
- Responsible to manage one's own time
- Sales, Communications, or other customer service experience experience required
- Experience in home services business preferred (Painting, Roofing, HVAC, Plumbing, etc.)
- Experience in utilizing a CRM system; LEAP CRM experience preferred not required
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work

If you're a passionate self-starter with an interest in relationship building, then Grand View is the company for you. This is a great role for someone who is a multi-tasker, enjoys a fast-paced and positive work environment and interacting with prospective customers and fellow coworkers.
The Commercial Sales Representative plays a vital role as the central facilitator to help advance leads and opportunities through the sales process stages for residential prospects. This will entail utilizing our customer relationship management system, LEAP CRM, to prospect, qualify, engage, and close leads. All training is provided, and entry level applicants are highly encouraged to apply for this position.
