    Job Description:

    • Assist attorneys with preparation of legal documents
    • Prepare and send correspondence and certain legal documents
    • File legal documents with the courts
    • Facilitate document management systems
    • Proofread and edit legal documents for accuracy and formatting
    • Maintain calendars and schedule appointments for attorneys
    • Answer phones, manage communication with clients, respond to calls and emails, and triage legal needs for clientele

    The ideal candidate would have several years of paralegal or legal assistant experience in the state of Missouri in one or more areas of private civil practice, experience managing executive calendars, as well as high-profile or sensitive clientele, in data entry, and in administrative and clerical duties.

    Education and Work Experience Requirements:

    • Associate's degree or higher
    • 2+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal OR 5+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant at a professional office
    • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Proficient keyboarding skills
    • Professional etiquette
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
