Overview:

Schedule: 7:30am - 4:00pm, Monday - Friday


Purpose Statement/Position Summary:
The Program Specialist is responsible for day-to-day oversight for department-specific programs.

The Specialist will direct and coordinate program activities to ensure that goals and objectives are accomplished within the estimated time period and in compliance with CHLA or other relevant agencies' policies.

The Specialist will monitor program workflows, engage community partners, and ensure desired program outcomes are achieve under the supervision of the Research Supervisor and Radiology Research Manager.

The Specialist is responsible for day-to-day oversight for department-specific programs.

The Program Specialist provides clinical research expertise by participating in the design and implementation of multiple projects in Human Imaging Core.

Additionally, the Specialist will participate in not only team building activities, but also formal and informal training opportunities designed to promote cross-areas skills development and personal career growth.


  • Experience in managing small to medium programs and teams
  • Ability to work extremely well as part of large or small multidisciplinary teams.
  • Outstanding organization skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills.

Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience: 2+ or more years managing small to medium programs and teams based in non-profit, healthcare or academic settings. Clinical research project management experience strongly preferred. The ability to interact with the diverse group of stakeholders, including faculty, staff, providers, patients and families, community partners and leaders in the field. ACRP Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC) or SOCRA highly preferred.


Education/Licensure/Certification:
Bachelor's degree in a related field. Equivalent education and experience may be considered.
