Our signature programs, Tyler's Camp, Literacy Corps and the Community Mentor Network, provide new experiences and rich activities designed to narrow learning gaps in low income communities.

We focus on cultivating self-worth, self-discovery, and meaningful human connection. Through these programs, kids learn to be vulnerable, persistent and curious while exploring new experiences. A side effect of this work is improved confidence, academic engagement and performance.


YOUR ROLE


Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Executive Assistant provides support in a working relationship with the leadership team of SummerCollab.

The Executive Assistant serves as a liaison to the board of directors and senior leadership teams; organizes and coordinates executive outreach and external relations efforts; and oversees special projects.

The Executive Assistant must be creative and enjoy working within a small, entrepreneurial environment that is mission-driven, results-driven and community oriented.

The ideal individual will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities.

The Executive Assistant will have the ability to work independently on projects, from conception to completion, and must be able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Completes a wide range of administrative tasks for the leadership team; including managing an active calendar of appointments and meetings, expense reports, composing and preparing correspondence that may be confidential, planning team travel arrangements and itineraries.
  • Plans, coordinates and ensures the CEO's schedule is followed and respected
  • Researches, prioritizes, and followsup on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the CEO, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature. Determines appropriate course of action referral or response, and tracks when tasks are delegated.
  • Prioritizes conflicting needs; handles matters expeditiously, proactively, and followsthrough on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures.
  • Serves as the CEO's administrative liaison to SummerCollab's board of directors and adheres to compliance with applicable bylaws.
  • Maintains office supply inventory by checking current stock and ordering based on anticipated upcoming needs.

  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and Google Suite.

SALARY AND BENEFITS
This is a full time, year-round position. Salary is commensurate with experience, skills, education and training. Full time employees receive paid holidays, vacation, sick and personal days. The SummerCollab team works in a hybrid environment with work days
