Skilled Turning Machinists Wanted for 2nd Shift

We are a full-service manufacturing partner to leading OEMs and we serve areas in the aerospace and defense, power generation
, mining, transportation, and a wide range of other sectors.**
2nd shift receives a 10% shift differential (in addition to hourly rate)

The position:We are seeking several experienced CNC Turning Machinists for 2nd shift to operate different CNC turning/lathe machines in our shop utilizing FANUC operating systems. You will be operating machines for valuable castings/forgings to manufacture them into quality parts for customers. Typical hours are Monday

Friday, 4:20pm to 2:50am. Must be available for overtime including weekends and during peak production times. This position offers a hireonbonus.

Job duties:

Performs a complex series of progressive machining operations on a diversified line of work to close and exacting tolerances and finish specifications.
Able to perform simple setups of many jobs. May operate more than one machine.
Checks parts for conformance to specifications.
Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean, orderly work area.
Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.

The Right Person/What we need from you:

Should be able to read and write English. Basic computer skills a plus
Preferred five or more years of combined formal training and experience or equivalent
Broad knowledge of machining techniques and familiarity with CNC machine tool operating procedures
Blueprint reading ability
Requires a high school diploma/GED or equivalent
Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds consistently with heavier weight necessary at times
