The Early Childhood Program Director (infants - 5 year olds) presents the School to prospective families, works to enroll and retain a diverse group of well-matched students each year, and oversees the program and the talented faculty who deliver on the Torit difference.
This position demands strong people skills, an understanding of child-centered pedagogy, strategic thinking and tactical problem solving abilities, and requires a dynamic self-starter who is eager to be a part of a high-functioning administrative team.
The position is full time, year round, and is eligible for benefits. The Director reports to the Head of School.Qualifications:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Leading the early childhood faculty with energy, enthusiasm, and vision
- Working with the Associate Head of School to ensure teachers develop and deliver a Montessori curriculum that encourages the best from each child
- Supervising teachers to nurture their professional growth and development, including regular classroom observations and feedback
- Engaging families in each step of the admissions process, ensuring excellent and individualized communication, including tours
- Collaborating with the Head of School to retain qualified families into Torit's elementary program
- Implementing the schedule and working to cover gaps as they arise
- Other duties as assigned

From $85,000.00 per year
