Job summary
The Thermal Spray Technician is responsible for performing HVOF plasma and/or other thermal spray coating operations per customer requirements.This position involves working in a safety-sensitive environment to prevent customer loss or damage.
The technician will perform duties safely and responsibly including reviewing job folders verifying areas of parts to be masked cleaned or blasted coated recording signing off on applicable data defined in the job folder reporting coating problems inaccuracies damaged parts tooling fixtures to the Thermal Spray Lead making appropriate use of coating materials equipment documentation following in-process inspection procedures as needed to verify current operation meets customer technical plan requirements completing assigned spray operations in a timely accurate manner per work instructions accurately documenting required data within the job folder maintaining high-quality output excellent record of attendance flexibility to work overtime as needed assisting supervisors developing processes that improve operations achieving 100% on-time delivery of assigned projects effective communication collaboration with supervisor plant leadership coworkers observing all Environmental Health Safety Policy requirements keeping work area neat orderly at all times wearing Personal Protective Equipment PPE.
