For the winter semester of 2024/25, we are looking to fill a professorship (m/f/d) in the field of Early Childhood Education at the IU International University for a period of 2 years, initially located in Hamburg and available in full-time or part-time, starting on

Your Responsibilities

You will represent the field of Early Childhood Education in teaching and research in the practice-integrated Bachelor's program and work with us to train the new generation of professionals (for more insights, please refer to the module handbook).

You will create and lead lectures and be responsible for the individual supervision of our dual students during their exams and when writing their final theses.

You will provide practical and well-founded basic knowledge in Early Childhood Education and be able to train our students in areas such as managing and leading social institutions, working with families, and educational work with children and vulnerable groups.

You will be involved in the creative development of teaching formats within the didactic concept of the IU for the dual study program and further develop it in collegial cooperation.
